QR code for a PDF
QR codes can't hold a whole PDF — they hold a link to it. Host the file somewhere public, then point a code at the link.
1. Get a public link to the PDF
- Your website: upload
/files/guide.pdf— fastest and most trustworthy for scanners. - Google Drive: Share → "Anyone with the link" → copy the link.
- Dropbox: share link; change

Test the link in a private browser window — if it asks you to log in, scanners will hit the same wall.
2. Encode the link
Static code — generated entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Need to change the destination later? Use a dynamic code instead.
